The following note is a bit scattered, but I wanted to share some of my memories from Sept 11th. Feel free to share your own experiences below. Ten years ago today I was standing underneath the vaulting ceiling in Westminster Abby, sketching the face of a marble angel on the tomb of a young woman. His empty, opaque eyes were focused on the upturned face of the girl he was reaching out to. He had a beautiful face. I am a born and raised Minnesotan with a penchant for sewing.
I am currently attending the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for apparel design and hope to work in the entertainment or fashion industry as a costume designer/maker and/or draper/technical pattern maker.
I enjoy getting overly attached to tv, movie, and book characters and making costumes and cosplays.

I am currently closed for commissions, but hope to open them up again as my class load allows.

Summer, if you could call it that

Hello hello everyone! I haven't updated this in awhile even though i've been on here more frequently as of late so I figured it was about time! I finished up another semester at the University of Minnesota and am now a newly minted junior in the apparel design program there. It was a bit of a tough semester, but I hung in there and even kept myself on the Dean's List for the third semester straight! I took a fashion illustration course which I might post some stuff from, Apparel Studio III which the suit jacket is from, Intro to Retail Merchandising (UGH), a 6-week Career/Internship prep class, and a Softlines Analysis course. I joined deviantArt just four short years ago and have been here more or less ever since. I honestly can't remember how/where I first heard about it, but once I learned more I wanted to join as a source of constant inspiration as well as a place to show off what I made.
